Company History
NLRussell Associates is a cash and treasury management consulting firm that specializes in working with corporations and banks that have operations in the United States and/or Latin America. Established in 1999 by Nancy Russell, NLRussell Associates was founded with the objective of providing clients with a unique and specialized consultancy.

NLRussell Associates provides in-country, regional and global cash management consulting services.

NLR clients are among the largest and most prestigious companies and include:

• Multinational companies with operations in Latin America
• Mid-size, large and multinational companies with operations in the United States
• Large local and international banks in countries throughout Latin America

About the Principal
Nancy Russell is founder, principal and executive director of NLRussell Associates. Her background includes 25 years of experience in product management and development, technical marketing, sales and consulting in corporate cash management and transactional banking services. Ms. Russell is recognized for her ability to identify and focus on key business and operational issues to solve problems, achieve unrealized opportunities and attain bottom-line for clients.

Before establishing NLR in 1999, Ms. Russell worked at BankBoston for eight years where she served as Division Executive for Global Cash Management Sales and  Regional Director, Latin American Cash Management. She has been working in Latin America since 1994 and continues to travel and work with clients in countries throughout  the region. She is fluent in Spanish.

Prior to 1991, Ms. Russell  was head of product management at Chase Access Services, a subsidiary of Chase Manhattan Bank and technical marketing manager in the global cash management division at Mellon Bank.

Ms. Russell has written a number of articles and white papers on topics related to payment systems, treasury regionalization and best practices in cash and treasury management. She is also the author of the Cash and Treasury Managers’ Handbook for the Americas which profiles the banking environment, payment systems and cash management practices in the 20 countries in Latin America, Canada and the USA.
